Candice Leatherwood

Coach Leatherwood played basketball at Mercy High School and had a very successful career. Over the course of the 4 years she received many individual honors and won a few championships. She later went to Liberty University (Virginia) and was apart of winning the Big South Conference Championship. She played there for 2 years and then transferred to Sacred Heart (Connecticut) to finish her collegiate career. She received All-Conference honors 2 years in a row and made the Conference All Tournament Team in her final season. Coach Leatherwood graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. She is currently the head women’s coach of the Siena Heights JV basketball team.
